 Parade of Homes Displays

2010 - 2008 - 2006 - 2003

In the event of a custom home or a spec home being built during the year, I have had
the honored opportunity of participating in the Kalamazoo Home Builders
Association Parade of Homes and the presentation of these new & beautiful homes.

Sometimes the project is large & sometimes it is a "simple" & small embellishment that
helps to bring the perfect & completed look together.

2010

A most grand lodge was displayed at the 2010 Home Builders Association
Parade of Homes.  To assist with the creation of the vision, the great room
& sunroom were provided with warm, golden finishes.  The great room
finish provided the illusion of texture with a blend of golds & a soft white.
For the sunroom, a glaze color from the grand room was washed over
an old world texture.

Working on this project  was a great honor bestowed to me
by Marla Bruemmer of Design Evolutions & Jim Beyer of  Beyer Construction.

2008

This was one of those "small" embellishments that helped create the total look.
A new home with excellent architectural features, lovely new furniture & fabric treatments
was looking for a special touch to assist  to make this lady of the house office a bit more
yummy.

The room included a dome housing a lovely, light fixture.  Sure, the area could have JUST been painted, but this homeowner had the vision of bringing the "metals" together in the
room with a SWEET, yet simple metallic finish within the dome.

A special thanks to Mary Quinn Interior Designs & Pennings & Sons, Inc. for bringing
me in to assist in this project creating a lovely custom home for a lovely family to share.

2006

The 2006 Kalamazoo Home Builders Association Parade of Homes provided me an
awesome opportunity to create some unique effects in a new home built by
W. J. Dykhuis Builder, Inc.

Torn Paper, Textured Acrylic Plaster & Distressed Paint Effects assisted the visions
of the homeowner to become a reality.

2003

Steve Waite Custom Homes was the builder of an awesome & unique spec house in
Comstock, MI.  I had the great opportunity to create some equally unique finishes that were
an asset to the selling of this fine home.
